Pro Bono

In the Miami area, we provide regular advice to two foundations on a pro bono basis. One is devoted to the needs of the homeless community in the Miami area, which go beyond securing temporary or permanent shelters. The purpose of the other one is to cover the basic needs to the poorest in southeast India, whether they be food, health, housing, education and financial assistance for multiple entrepreneurial projects. Its activities now benefit over 3,500,000 Indians. Both foundations have been formed in the U.S. and hold a 501(c)(3) (or tax exempt) status.

In the New York area, our founding partner is a member of the Board and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization devoted to fostering trade relationships between Spain and the US.

As a result of our pro bono work, we have developed an expertise on public and private charities, and are very familiar with their governance, reporting and other requirements, including the need to establish conflict of interests and financial control policies.
