We also have extensive experience in the negotiation of commercial leases and have represented and advised clients in a wide variety of industries, ranging from luxury retail to hospitality. RC Law represented Ferrado Properties, as property owner, in the negotiation and drafting of an operating lease agreement and complex related documents for the management and operation of client’s South Beach hotel property, formerly known as “Room Mate Waldorf Towers”, and now known as “Waldorf Towers Hotel”. The hotel operator is Crestline Hotels & Resorts, the US subsidiary of Spain’s Barcelo Hotels group.
Ferrado is the real estate investment arm of ROSP Corunna, the family office of Ms. Sandra Ortega, the daughter of Inditex (Zara)’s owner, Mr. Amancio Ortega, and Spain’s wealthiest lady.

RC Law represented Ferrado Hotels LLC, as property owner, in the negotiation and drafting of an operating lease agreement for the management and operation of client’s New York City hotel property, formerly known as “Room Mate Grace Hotel”, and now known as “45 Times Square Hotel”. Adverse party was the Palladium Hotel Group of Spain. The operating agreement was complex in that it involved varying terms and conditions for each of the three phases of the agreement, i.e. an initial phase to operate the hotel with no brand, a construction phase to build the hotel to the Palladium Group standards and a final phase to operate the hotel under the “Only You” brand, over a period of 20 years. Ferrado is the real estate investment arm of ROSP Corunna, the family office of Ms. Sandra Ortega, the daughter of Inditex (Zara)’s owner, Mr. Amancio Ortega, and Spain’s wealthiest lady.
