Employment
RC Law provides recurring advice on employment matters to meet the needs of our international clients setting up businesses in the United States. We draft and negotiate offer letters and employment, confidentiality, termination, settlement, and non-compete/non-solicitation agreements. As employment law in the United States is largely left to self-regulation, we help clients craft the necessary employment policies and draft their “Employee Handbooks”.
While we do not practice immigration law, for over two decades we have assisted international clients “land” in the United States and are thus able to provide initial advice on the options available to help them obtain temporary or permanent work/residence permits in the country. Clients often request us to work as liaison with the immigration counsel of their choice, or that we select, to process their work/residence applications.
