Mariana Marangoni is an Associate at RC Law’s Real Estate and Corporate teams. Her practice encompasses real estate, mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance, as well as commercial and international transactional work.
Ms. Marangoni holds a Brazilian law degree (equivalent to Juris Doctor) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. She earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialization in U.S. and Transactional Law from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as a Research Assistant in Legal Communication and Research. Additionally, she received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, earning a Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award and a Dean’s List Certificate Award.
Recently, Ms. Marangoni graduated with a second Master’s Degree in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law. She was honored with the Director’s Award in the Real Estate Transactions class, recognizing her as the top student in the course.
Ms. Marangoni’s practice focuses on advising both domestic and international clients on real estate and corporate matters. Her real estate expertise includes handling complex real estate investment, management, financing, and leasing in a wide variety of industries. She has developed expertise in hotel transactions, and in the negotiation of commercial leases and management agreements for properties located throughout the U.S.
Her corporate expertise includes advising both domestic and international clients in corporate matters, including reorganizations, dissolutions, corporate governance, and legal compliance. She has represented both sellers and purchasers in complex M&A transactions across various industries and is regularly engaged in conducting due diligence for risk assessment, analyzing commercial issues, among others.
Before joining RC Law, Ms. Marangoni was an in-house lawyer at Mattos Filho Advogados in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she led projects involving investment funds, debt and financing, and banking and financial services.
Ms. Marangoni is a member of The Florida Bar and the Brazilian Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil). She is a native Portuguese speaker
