Miami, Florida – April 15, 2021 – RC Law has hired senior attorney Rusalka de la Campa, as part of an effort to strengthen the Firm’s finance and real estate practices. “We are very excited with the addition of Rusalka to our Miami team”, said Xavier Ruiz, the Firm’s founding partner. “Rusalka brings to the firm a broad range of transactional experience, from finance and joint ventures to media and real estate, representing both domestic and international clients”, he added. Mr. Ruiz also emphasized Ms. De la Campa’s ability to fully operate in English and Spanish.
Born in New York and raised in Miami, Ms. de la Campa began her legal career as an Associate in the Structured Finance Group of Clifford Chance and then in Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, both in New York. Her relocation to Miami offered her the opportunity to continue practicing law in-house at the Latin American division of a global mass-media company, advising on the distribution of pay-television content and marketing throughout the Latin American and Caribbean regions. Most recently, she has concentrated on the Miami real estate industry, with a particular focus on representing sellers in both residential and commercial transactions.
Ms. de la Campa graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami, with a double major in French and International Studies. She received her Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law, where she served as an Executive Editor of the Journal of International Law & Politics.
Ms. de la Campa is a member of the Florida Bar and the New York Bar, speaks Spanish fluently and is proficient in French.
